I should probably talk to you about what happened this week...about the injustice...about the rage...which I'm seeing and feeling profoundly today. I feel so freaking angry right now.
But mostly I'm still taking it in, and I'm feeling a lot. I'm not quite ready to talk.
Some people are so amazing at writing and expressing themselves in the moment of crisis. I am forever impressed by that.
For me, in these moments of crisis, my heart turns inward. I feel silently and quietly, and so at these times I rely on other people's words to bring forward what needs expression.
Today, I'm sharing a short list of books and art made in the past, but that get at the heart of the injustices which need to be seen and acknowledged today, or that express the grief and rage which needs to be felt.
May you find what you need to help you feel your feelings and take the actions that need to be taken.
