A podcast recommendation for you!

Today is the day before the Waning Quarter Moon. This is a time to start turning inwards, to feel the beat of your heart, to allow yourself to experience, as Clarissa Pinkola Estes calls it, "the river beneath the river".

I recently found a podcast that is helping me do just this.

Track Your Life with Boyd Varty is a series of journal entries describing 40 days and 40 nights Varty spent alone in the wilderness this year.

His calming voice and descriptions of tracking rhinos and lions calms my nervous system and puts me in a state of awareness I haven't experienced in a while - the state where I become totally aware of my senses and what I'm experiencing in the present moment.

Varty weaves the practical logistics of his experiences in with emotional and spiritual explorations  of the mystic in nature.

This one is for you if you're looking for a podcast with short episodes, 10 - 20 minutes long, that will calm you down and help you remember peace.
